Sydnee Mela
Store Manager / Web Designer
Sydnee Mela is our store manager and website designer. Sydnee finds joy in facilitating and making space for people to engage with what the Cageless Birds are doing through the websites, online store and pop-up shops. During the 18 Inch Journey, Sydnee coaches our women’s fitness program, teaching women to care for their bodies. She leads relays and play classes to give permission for everyone to be active, have fun and get a silly. She has a passion for people to move, take care of their bodies and have a fun while doing it. Sydnee also serves as a main photographer and leads the Darkroom Collective, teaching students the process of film photography and empowering students with the value of remembrance and capturing their history and legacy to pass on for generations.
