Leather Goods & Childcare Intern

Saskia completed Phase II in 2025 and has returned from the Netherlands to A Place for the Heart for a 10-month internship with Cageless Birds. During this season, she is serving in the Leather Goods and Childcare departments, where she is learning the craft of leather making while also caring for the children of families on staff. Saskia considers it an honor to return and say thank you to a community that has loved her and fought for her story. She is passionate about seeing wholeness that impacts generations to come, especially within families.
